Inspired by the way Jesus Christ perfectly mourned with those that mourn, this song reflects His quiet, compassionate example of simply being there. Because of Him, we can learn how to sit with others in love, sorrow, and heartbreak.
This piece is for anyone who has endured grief, and for those learning how to sit with others through it.
Since this song was written specifically for Kendra Bird, the mother of Brielle Bird who passed away due to cancer in December 2025, the proceeds for this sheet music will go directly to the Bird family. Thank you for your willingness to help their family during this time.
